Our Roots
Since 2019, The Urban Studio has led and supported nature-based community design projects across Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Germantown, MD, Los Angeles,CA, and Northern Virginia.
Through this work, we have developed strong expertise in designing engagement that meets communities where they are, translates technical goals into accessible experiences, and builds local capacity for environmental care.
Our work bridges urban planning, art, and environmental practice to help communities green their neighborhoods in ways that are durable, inclusive, and grounded in lived experience.
